Snow-Line does not offer apple picking but is worth a stop for its apple-cider doughnuts. Packages of a dozen cinnamon-dusted mini doughnuts made to order result in long lines no matter the hour. But this piping-hot specialty is heavenly and well worth the wait and the $3.53 price.

Description: Riley's Farm is one of the largest and oldest remaining orchards in Southern California, homesteaded by Joseph Wilshire in the 1880s. We feature apple picking, pumpkin picking, pears, raspberries and living history of all sorts, including the popular Revolutionary War Adventure, seen by 60,000 guests per year.
Apples: Rome Beauties, Galas, Shensus, Fujis, Delicious, Granny Smith, and a variety of new heirloom trees to be harvested in 2008.
